      Huh?

      :eek::eek::eek:

      (please tell me this is in the right gallery :) )

      I dearly hope it is!

      But judging by the lack of any EXIF data I suspect this is either a photograph of one of the known ones in South Africa taken from the internet or - hopefully - a scan of a photo of the individual at Port Lympne in the 1990's.

      If I am wrong, and the above image was taken in the UK recently - there are BLOODY INTERESTED PARTIES! :p

      On further inspection, my money's on this being a recent photo from a West African private sanctuary.
      I think I recognise both the cat and the enclosure. :(

      Never mind :) suspected this would be the case.

      Hopefully the photo has been actually *taken* by the original poster, so that I am not obliged to delete it as a copyright violation - even if it is in the wrong portion of the gallery it is a nice photo.

      Yes It was taken last week

      And is it, as Devilfish presumes, in a West African sanctuary? If you can tell us where it was taken, I can move it into the correct portion of the gallery.

      It was taken in Central Africa

      Wow man, that's incredible :O

      Facially this looks very different from Catopuma, and much more like Caracal or Leptailurus.
