      As the general consensus these days is that the African Golden Cat is more correctly Caracal aurata as opposed to deserving seperate generic status under Profelis, this does rather make sense.

      It is from a sanctuary in Libreville, Gabon. The ZooChat administrator has just added Gabon to the Africa listings so I moved the photo to that gallery.

      @Nix South African were reported but their location is not public knowledge as far as I know (TLD may be able to add more). However if you want to see them a recent discussion notes there are eleven at a facility in Uganda.
