      recently invested in a sizable, nice savannah exhibit for giraffes, zebra, and antelope - which shows that the zoo indeed has potential, even if one can debate whether Baltic Europe is the best place to put a Savannah. That said, some parts of the zoo are still lumbering behind, such as exhibits for hippos and bears, which have not seemingly changed since their conception. For years, there was an ongoing appeal to re-add elephants to the collection, by raising funds for an elephant home, though to my knowledge, nothing ever came out of this.
