I asked “What kind of monkey?” Recently, there are many African monkeys that we have never seen before appear in Chinese zoos.
    • Dicerorhinus
This is an Allen's Swamp monkey.

Are there more African primates in Chinese zoos these days then ?
Do you think there are any other mammal species that are now more commonly seen than ever before in Chinese zoos?
    • Deer Forest2
Yes, there are more and more African primates (including Chimpanzees but no Gorilla has been seen) appear in Chinese zoos recent years, more than imagination. South American primates are also becoming more common.

Other mammals that being import in large number are South African giraffes and Elands.

But I have to say, the largest import number is made by Alpacas and Llamas.
These so called “Network Mythical Creatures” are becoming as popular as Giant pandas... You can see Llamas or Alpacas in almost every Chinese zoo.
