Amur Tiger enclosure at Edinburgh Zoo 2008

Pretty but not particularly large. These animals will be moving to Highland Wildlife Park later in the year.

It looks more like it should house Orangutans than tigers!

It certainly appears to be a lush exhibit for tigers, but the size is difficult to predict from this particular photo.

What will replace the Amurs when they leave?
    • CZJimmy
Sumatrans have replaced them I believe.

The enclosure is used by a pair of jaguars at the moment, while the Sumatran tigers are quarantined in the rock dens.

This looks like a great exhibit! I think this exhibit looks way better for Jags than Tigers.
