      Thats terrifying… a cats going go to jump that fence sooner rather than later.

      I'm guessing that the fence is only about 14 feet high.

      Just to be clear is there anything attached to the post sticking up above the chainlink? If not, this fence looks even shorter than that! How tall was the pedestrian barrier off the path? usually they are 3.5'-4'.

      There is nothing attached to the post at all and the pedestrian barrier was the usual 4 feet or so from the fence. My guess is that the fence is a maximum of 14 feet high but possibly closer to 12 or 13 feet. Hopefully the zoo is adding new fencing to the top portion because if not a tragedy could occur.

      Has anyone visited Tiger Safari in the past 5 years? The zoo advertises overnight accommodation, but looking at the low fences on the tiger and lion exhibits doesn't give me any confidence to book a sleepover. :p Can you imagine walking the grounds at night with those low fences...it would be terrifying!
