      Yeah i thought thw white, normal and golden were mixed tigers, thanks

      Turns out that they are not pure Amurs after all. It's been reported on another thread that they are 3 of around 30 Amur tigers in Europe that have been found to have Sumatran genes. The problem wasn't discovered until after Longleat had obtained them. I believe that the plan is now to keep them at Longleat for display only.

      I am not surprised to read that they are not pure; the photograph and the animals are beautiful but they do not look like 'Amurs'.
