      Plans to convert the old Polar Bear exhibit to a Californian Sealion exhibit have been shelved (temporarily I hope) due to the coronavirus pandemic's impact on park attendance and finances. The former underwater-viewing gallery and pool is being converted into an "Animal Playground". I believe it is an exercise/activity area for the birds and small mammals featured in the Zoo's shows.
