I do like Houbaras, Great picture. I seem to remember reading that macquenii was split from undulata. Does anyone know more? (Or am I completely wrong on that one? )
The illustrated checklist of the birds of the world does split maxqueenii from undulata based on differences in colouration, display and vocal differences in display (Tobias criteria score = 9)
