Has large is this enclosure? Is that a permanent statue of a woman as a water-fountain in the exhibit?
Not permanent, no. The statue has gone through a period of questioning its identity, and will soon become a statue of a man.
How much more could you possibly do wrong in an otter enclosure ? As long as there is water, nothing else seems to matter - at least for some zoos ...
My grade 10 students could construct a better exhibit than what is being showcased here, and they wouldn't even have to toss in the pointless statue.
Are you sure the enclosure is for otter? I thought it was a water fountain at the entrance of the shop when I visited last year.
Yes, it would have been. The day I visited, the Animal Manager told me that the otter had moved into that enclosure a week before. Attached is the sign that was on the enclosure.
