      I remember an odd exhibit at the Woodland Park Zoo that had a massive orb weaver web with no glass whatsoever.

      @Ebirah766 Lots of zoos have that. Lincoln Park has one, and the National Zoo had before their invertebrate house closed.

      @Ebirah766 If you think that's odd, this photo was taken in a walk-through enclosure filled with these and Nephila inaurata madagascariensis.

      We get a lot of these in our backyard.

      They are very prolific web builders - it's very annoying walking to the car only to get a face-full of spider web. What's worse, they will have already started rebuilding it by the time you get back 15 minutes later and so get it again!

      Their webs really are quite spectacular in the sunlight though!
