Can you remember number/sex ratio. Is it just males here?
    • Maguari
Just these two males (as posted elsewhere, they share with the single male White-lipped). Presumably this paddock is basically functioning as a surplus male holding for the HWP herds.

Thanks. That would indeed seem to be the case. If HWP have about five White-lipped, plus one here, that's a total of about half a dozen, a big drop from what I seem to remember was the original import of well over a dozen that came from Europe into quarantine at Edinburgh.

Similarly with the Bactrian deer but numbers seem to be slowly climbing back up, hampered mainly by the small number of females.
