Bengal Slow Loris (Nycticebus bengalensis) at Hamerton Zoo Park - March 27

A pair of this species have recently arrived at the park from the Rare Species Conservation Centre, the only ones in Europe outside of Germany.

      Hi guys, yes we have bengalensis at Shaldon and have done for about 15 years. Only recently have we altered the classification on zims to be accurate. We have one female who was a customs seizure and as far as I can tell, all others came from one import from one collection.
