Bird in local park

Not the best shot, and not the best lighting - sorry. They were together almost like a pair despite the different appearance, so I am guessing it was a male and female. See other pics below.

      These look rather like immature European Starlings (Sturnus vulgaris).

      Oh yeah? I get loads of common starlings in my backyard, but they all seem to have a greenish-blackish, iridescent hue. Juvenile starlings seem anticlimactic now as I thought it was another bird for my list. :(

      the main picture is an adult starling, the other one is a juvenile

      Yes - I assumed the first attachment was the same bird but looking again that's not the case.
