Bird Spotting Guide at Long Sutton 25/04/11

This side is the second half of the aviary - I saw the fodies and the two doves (including the bizarrely-mislabelled Speckled Pigeon), but no sign of the others. I find it very hard to believe they have Sierra Madre Sparrows - which are not listed on Zootierliste for any European zoo. If there are none from the grand bird houses of the city zoos to the small but highly-specialist bird places that abound in Europe it's hard to imagine them turning up here. Would be very happy to be proved wrong though.
