Black rhinos canyon

The Black Rhino Canyon is the big new 2005 of the Bioparc de Doué la Fontaine (France), opened after seven long month of construction. It has extend the zoo of 2 suplementaries hectares. The visitors walk on a long path over the canyon, all around it, for have a panoramic view. The canyon is divised into two exhibits dug in the rock, enhanced with natural pools, 1200 african trees, grass or rocky substrat, who give the impression to be at the heart of the Africa. Six african species share this vast enclosure : Black Rhinos, Addras Gazellas and dorcas gazellas, arrived in 2008 from Marwell (Unique in France) And 3 species of birds : Black Crowned Crane, Helmeted Guineafowl and rare Spur-winged Goose.
