How many black-shanked douc do they have? When I visited the zoo several years ago, there are only red-shanked douc. Maybe these black-shanked douc are imported from Xiangjiang Safari Park?

A paper from a veterinarian in Nanning zoo said there is 8, I only saw 6. Here is the paper, if you are interested in. www.cnki.com.cn/Article/CJFDTotal-YSDW201301006.htm
And I have not seen the rek-shanked douc. I'm afraid it has died. I don't know where they imported them. Maybe Xiangjiang, but it has greater population than Xiangjiang. So I guess it may import them from some Vietnam zoo, you know, GuangXi is adjacent to Vietnam.

Maybe. It seems that Nanning Zoo have made great improvements since my last visit.
