      Looks like they went to slightly better cages since 2004. Still not great :(

      Really? Oh dear. So where were they in 2004?

      As far as I remember, they had about 20 blue throated macaws together in one free standing, relatively small cage with little shelter. I assume it was to the right of the cages pictured, near the entrance.

      By the way, the free roaming spider monkey in the other picture is probably still the same one I saw roaming free in 2004. Therefore this must be deliberate :)

      Thanks, that's a first for me! But the capuchin and tortoise are probably genuine escapees, right?

      Didn't see any capuchins or tortoises roaming free, just a three toed sloth besides the spider monkey.
