      Whaaaaa,.. what I can't even begin to understand what they're thinking. I see what looks like a hot-wire but is that it? For a lynx and bobcat enclosure? How hasn't anyone been mauled?

      This row of functional enclosures features a steep hillside and from the base of the visitor fence there is a good 6-foot drop to the bottom of the small hill. If you click on the photo, then on the word "original", you can zoom in and see hotwire running along the base of the fence, just beneath where a visitor's feet would be.
