Amur leopards in the desert, that does not seem right....
perhaps this enclosure is better suited for Arabian leopards, Indian leopards or perhaps Persian leopards, I wish that AZA could create programs for those subspecies like they have for Amur leopards, but Amur leopards are more endangered so maybe it is best that they concentrate on them

The Fragile Desert is the building that is right behind this building so this exhibit is technically not in the desert exhibit. It is also just around the mock-rock corner from the lion exhibit and this exhibit does not resemble a desert at all.

I agree, it would be nice if the AZA would focus on those other leopard subspecies.

Unless there is a LOT MORE to this exhibit than what is shown here (both in terms of size and substrate/vegatation), this is exhibit is not suitable for any subspecies of leopard.

There is more to this exhibit including natural substrate.

This is the best photo of the entire exhibit on zoochat: http://www.zoochat.com/548/fragile-kingdom-big-cats-amur-leopard-331642/ (the exhibit goes all the way back past the large log in the back of the photo)
