Will the Sloth Bear also be moving to the new bear exhibit in 2009?

The Great Bear Wilderness will be right next to the Regenstein Wolf Woods (which I think is the best exhibit at the Brookfield Zoo) but I think that only the polar and grizzly bears will go there. It might be weird having India's sloth bears in that section of the zoo, and so they might still be stuck in their typical grotto habitat.

There are two sets of grottos at Brookfield zoo this is in the big cat grottos which have plants and natrual substrate and not in the bear grottos which have no sustrate.

The old bear grottos are no longer in use and should be demolished.

I doubt they will destroy the bear grottos any time soon since they just made a bug exhibit but they are charging extra to see the exhibit so i think they are raising money. I think that they will make a new elephant or gorilla exhibit before destroying the grottos.

Supposedly there are plans for elephants its just a matter of money. Our hope is that Hippos,Rhinos and Tapirs are either included in the plans or exhibited elsewhere in the zoo.

      Why their exhibits are good.

This climbing platform has been replaced with deadfall and more trees.
