Not such a bad orang exhibit, even accounting for the sheer fakeness of it all, but almost surely the worst orang enclosure in terms of visitor viewing opportunities. The exhibit is far away from the visitor walkway, and I know a friend of mine in Chicago that has visited this zoo many times and has never once seen an orangutan there.

Brookfield's Orang exhibit is similar to Cleveland's in the sense that both are 100% indoors. Cleveland's however has a huge glass window for visitors to get up close and offers the Orangs no shortages of climbing opportunities. They can climb nearly forty feet up a climbing structure that is essentially a fake tree. They all spend most of their time up high in the structure except the male who likes to come sit up next to the glass window and gawk at all the zoo visitors.

@BlackRhino: it would be great if you would post loads of photos from the Cleveland Zoo, as there aren't that many images of the rainforest at your local zoo. The orangutan exhibit in Cleveland is surely far superior to this one in Chicago.
