      An anole in Singapore?! How did it get there?

      Apparently quite a substantial amount were brought there accidentally, likely on plants for the Gardens by the Bay. They were very common around that area, but I didn't see them anywhere else. There's an article on it here: New lizard in town at Gardens by the Bay

      This is probably one of the newest introduced reptiles in the country, after green iguana in the Jurong bird park area (from escaped animals from the closed reptile zoo next doors), oriental garden lizard throughout the entire island, red-eared sliders in urban areas, and unfortunately many more...
