'Burrow'

Taken 22nd July 2015 These burrows formed part of the enclosures for mice and voles, as well as a very large, lush and deeply filled with mud tank. This made the animals very hard to see without spending quite a bit of time looking. I overheard one family walk through this area (which is the first bit you get to upon entry) though without spending more than a few seconds at each enclosure saying that they hadn't seen any animals yet despite passing enclosures for about a dozen species!
