Cairns Night Zoo 2007 - Keeper shows a Barn Owl

Cairns Tropical Zoo is open into the night five days a week. However you need to order in advance and usually do that through your hotel concierge. You are not allowed to wander around on your own and must follow a staff member. The evening program starts with barbeque, music and dance. Then are some animal introductions in the snake show tent and lastly they feed the large crocodiles. This is an experience worth recommending as many of the animals are most active in the night.
