Canadian lynx

Canadian lynx (Lynx canadensis) at Trotters in the late 90s/early noughties. I don't have a scanner, so this was a photo taken of an old film photo. I took this when I was younger, not knowing at the time I probably wouldn't see another one [at that age it was just a lynx to me]. I feel extremely lucky that by chance I had decided I'd photograph this animal, so glad I did.

      It's a tragedy that they left not just Trotter's but Britain too. God knows why they have them away again. I visit trotters about 3 times a year so I have been lucky enough to see them, and the cubs, on a few occasions.
