      Wouldn't expect to see this sort of exhibit in such a progressive city... :(

      @amur leopard From what I remember from my visit of the zoo, it is very dense and has very little to no space available to expand. I think they're going to have to drop a few species if they want to house properly all their animals. This chimp islandish thing is not the only small exhibit but it's probably the worst one.

      The Chimps actually have a new exhibit and indoor area. Its fairly nice. You can see a picture below.

      Sadly the zoo decided to acquire orangutans at the same time they built this exhibit. They have a pair who have no designated exhibit, usually having access to just the aerial trail seen below. Some days they do rotate with the chimps from what I know. The zoo has a plan to give the orangutans an exhibit, which will be one of the grottos previously home to the chimps :oops:

      @nczoofan Great news for the chimps ! They obviously deserved better...
      I wonder why they decided to get orangutans if they don't have an immediate plan for them :rolleyes:
