This is the finished exhibit for the Golden Snub-nosed monkeys.

Wow, the $7.5 million exhibit actually exists! Thanks for all the great photos Mario.

yeah, that exhibit does not look like a 7.5 million dollars. I think that the exhibit will be worth 7.5 million when the monkeys are actually in there.

Why did they never come, and how much should they have cost?

^china backed out, like they almost always do in these situations.

Bad thing, it would be so great to these stunning monkeys outside china. They are perfect for most zoos because they can be kept without an radiator...

It is now home to a couple of Francois' Langurs and Reeves's Muntjac. It also used to have a couple of Lady Amherst Pheasants, but they were recently taken out and moved to another exhibit.

Cat-man is correct, China backed out of the deal after the zoo had the permits ready. The zoo actually had to renew the permits to import the monkeys several times before the backed out because it was taking so long for China to send the monkeys.

So after all this time, are there still muntjacs living with the langurs in this exhibit?
