Ohhh I remember now! Sambar Deer!
    • Maguari
Sambar don't have spots (as adults). These look like Axis Deer/Chital (Axis axis) to me. :)

Okay, I finally changed it for the 4th time! :)

It may be the angle, but they don't look like Chital to me.
They look a bit to stocky.

      What else would they be?
    • Ituri
It could be a sika, the SDZSP maintains two subspecies, Mandarin and Vietnamese.
    • MountainBongo
I think it is! I remember my guide saying the deer species are Sambar and Sika.

    • MountainBongo
They were hiding in the rocks right next to the Gaur. I was the only one to see them on my Caravan! :)
