      Nice exhibit

      Which cheetah exhibit is this?
    • snowleopard
It is in the soon-to-be-renovated cat canyon, and right next to the tiger enclosure. This cheetah habitat in the photo is one where visitors look down upon the sleek cats.

If I remember (or if things have/haven't changed), the cheetah enclosure was in the center of the two tiger ones. It looks infinitely different in this photo though--I thought perhaps it was some part of the other cheetah enclosure.

@tigertiger: you might well be right about the location of this enclosure, but it is definitely the cheetah grotto. The big cat exhibits in cat canyon are really not that bad at all, and there are certainly many worse carnivore enclosures at various zoos worldwide. On another photo you made a comment that both the Brookfield and Cincinnati zoos have great collections but hit-and-miss exhibits and I agree 100%.

This grotto is another Hagenbeck designed enclosure at the zoo.
