Cincinnati Zoo - Sumatran Rhino Paddock

July 2008. The only one of its kind in any zoo on the planet. Shady, muddy, stinky and perfect for endangered rhinos.

nice, how many exhibits do the sumatran rhinos have?

There are two paddocks, side-by-side. A keeper told me that when Harry the male gets older the zoo will either renovate the next door paddock (red river hogs) and create a 3rd sumatran rhino exhibit...or the Los Angeles Zoo might get Harry. That would make your day Mario!

Yes it would! I hope the LA zoo does get Harry. If he does come I would like to see him in the new Pachyderm Forest or at least in a new exhibit.
