It seems odd that a couple of female Clouded Leopards reside in this area, and that visitors can view the felines before they actually pay to enter the main zoo building. How did such a rare species of cat end up at a Crocodile Zoo?
To be honest, once visitors make the journey all the way out here, I imagine everyone will pay for entry. The clouded leopards are difficult to see, so they're unlikely to get a good sighting of them for free. Given some of the rarities inside the building, I'm not too surprised that they got hold of cloudies but I don't know their story. A nicer and more appropriate choice than something like a hybrid leopard, though.
