      I don't know if it's because of breeding, aggression or something else that these have a separate exhibit.

      This species is aggressive. I think it's regularly kept alone at the Wildfowl and Wetland Trust collections.

      Makes sense, it's just that dabbling ducks hardly ever have species-separate exhibits in zoos - you almost always see three or more species in the same pond.
