Cologne Zoo - Madagascar House

The interior of the Madagascar House in Cologne Zoo, Germany. A very interesting house that shows how easy it can be to enhance the visitor experience. Woodchips on the floor and several plants hanging down and growing by the viewing windows contributes to a very forest-like atmosphere. The house is otherwise very straight forward and consists of a long isle down the middle with exhibits on each side. Various lemurs occupy the exhibits. July 2009
