Cologne Zoo - Madagascar House

The indoor exhibit for white-belted ruffed lemurs inside the Madagascar House in Cologne Zoo, Germany. This is a decent indoor exhibit. It is not very big but adequate and very light with many climbing frames inside it. The Madagascar House itself is quite interesting and shows how easy it can be to enhance the visitor experience. Woodchips on the floor and several plants hanging down and growing by the viewing windows contributes to a very forest-like atmosphere. July 2009
