      There is a metal walkway that is raised high above the grassy floor, so that the gorilla troop can traverse the exhibit without actually touching the ground.

      the much talked about natrualistic enclosures of estados unidos eh ? so why if this is satisfactory to you , did you continually attack the enclosures at Howletts and Port lympne ?

      I've never praised the Columbus Zoo's gorilla exhibit, but it is unusual because of the fact that it is the only Howletts-style gorilla cage in the United States. Sorry Jose, but I really do not want to get into the whole "naturalistic vs. cage" debate, as that has been going on between several other members on this site.
