Terpsiphone viridis, adult male. Tropical House near penguins, Birdland, Bourton-on-the-Water, 7th July 1973. Scanned from an Ektachrome transparency. This is the 'white morph' of this very variable species - a truly stunning bird. But any a bird from the genus Terpsiphone has to be wonderful.
