      Here I go again I would like help IDing this species

      I know there are black headed gulls it\'s the bird at the end I am unsure about is it a gooseander or Great crested grebe

      It looks like its a female goosander.

      I agree. You only see grebes out of the water if they're on the nest or in flight.

      Female Goosander. As Alan says above, Grebes can't perch like that, its a physical impossibility as their legs are set very far back on their bodies.
