Was the remaining elephant showing any signs of distress/grieving etc, searching round for the departed one?

When I visited the enclosure twice, she was outside foraging both times. I've never felt the death of an animal, however, when I went into the house it certainly felt different to past times.

What's the future for this paddock/house? Will Blackpool continue with elephants?

The house now holds camels after the elephants move leading to the closure of the reptile house. Despite the elephants having a better enclosure now, I still miss the reptile house and seeing the elephants in this paddock. The zoo has a different feeling without it.
