Landscaped area at Blue Reef Bristol 19/12/09

This area is more-or-less unchanged from Wildwalk@Bristol. The tropical planting has been replaced by desert-style planting for no readily-apparent reason (possibly low maintenance?). There are two large display tanks and two smaller ones in this area, and the aquarium route passes through it twice. One the first pass the large tank is native marines, the smaller is Malawi cichlids; the second time you go past a smaller tank for Amazon river fishes (including Motoro Stingrays) and a larger Amazon tank for Pacu, Tiger Shovelnose Catfish and terrapins. This is one of the (unlabelled) terrapins in the larger Amazon display.
