Damisi the gorilla at Chessington Zoo, 24 May 2009

Damisi\'s group comprises Buu (f), Shani (f), Asili (f), Shanga (f) and baby Mbula (m).

He is still not fully mature though probably full grown now. The hair on his arms hasn't grown really thick and long yet and his sagittal crest may get bigger too. I would say another 3 years until he is fully developed.

It looks like he is trying to work out how the world began or the meaning of life.

He does look deep in thought, but then most silver backs look this way.

yes he does , he looks very brooding , like a boxer working out his strategy before going into the ring
