I think now that this one is probably Shanga now that I have found the picture of what I think is an older female (Shani). I think they must have introduced the younger animals Kumi and Kumili to the group. To make sure I think I will have to contact the zoo. Armchair primatology really is a fascinating hobby :)

No, the one looking at the camera here is an older female(domed head and ruff around face) Pretty sure this is Buu.

I have a feeling Kumi and Kumili are still not in the main group or you would have seen more animals than 6.

Im sure it was 6 Im just confusing myself seeing differences in all the pictures I have that aren't there. This is definitely an adult female too old to be shanga - I forgot just how young she is. Looking at this ones nostrils they are not very circular and quite shallow looking with quite a flat nose. I think would agree that this is Buu.

I'm 100% certain this is Buu. Her ears stick out.

I think you definately would have seen the same Damisi group as they've had since he arrived(with no Kumili or Kuni)

I think they will keep the two groups as they are definately until after the new enclosure is finished, and maybe after that as well. When 'old' Kumba dies they will probably integrate them into one single group then.

Yes I'm sure I did I’m just confusing things and I managed to photograph all 6 which is what I hoped to do.
Kumba and Bafia aren't getting any younger and it would be nice to see them hopefully if they are still about when they finish the new enclosure they will display them, I hope so.
Buu's 'Gary Lineker' style ears are a distinguishing characteristic. Can't believe I overlooked them.

I think when the new enclosure is done you will see the 'kumba group' on proper exhibit again. My guess is the combinations will stay as they are, at least for a while yet. (It would probably change if either Kumba dies or Kumili starts to become sexually receptive- she is six now)
