Male Tarictic Hornbill feeding a female

The Aggressive male taricitc hornbill is showing his tender side. After the keeper quickly thrust in the food bowl avoiding a peck in the eye he bbegan to take mealworm after mealworm to her. I don't think she has eggs. I read that until all taricitic hornbills were paired up with birds form their correct subspecies then the breeding programme was to be halted.
