Musschenbroek's Lorikeets, Chester Zoo

In 1986 a Customs seizure meant that the Musschenbroek's Lorikeet (Neopsittacus mushenbroeki) could be seen in some UK zoos, several bred them for a while. Alas the stock has now died out. This pair are in Chester Zoo's Bird House

      They are now only kept in German zoos I believe.
