Orang House

Old Orang-Utan house at Chester- still there at present but less often used due to new Realm of the Red Ape development. Should be re-furbished in Phase 2 perhaps?

      This is now an Orang quarantine/off-show area. The Borneans still use this as indoor accomodation.

      Originally, this was meant to be demolished and a second "realm" was to be constructed next to the the new one, which held the Borneans, but Chester couldn't get the funding for this straightaway.

      Not for the moment last time i spoke to a keeper and asked him when phase 2 was going to start and he said he had no idea.
