      Was this taken with a Macro lens
      If so do you think they are worth having

      It wouldn't have been possible to get this shot without a macro lens - in this instance a Canon 100mm prime, the same as for the atlas moth image - so if it's the sort of photography you're interested in the investment is definitely worthwhile.

      The small details from zoos are largely missing from the ZooChat galleries, a shame as many of them deserve a closer look.
