      Thanks! This is one of the most picturesque zoos in England - I love the combination of traditional manor estate and the exotic animals, which is never more obvious than with the rhinos and zebras grazing right outside the house.

      The lack of obvious fencing , the blue sky and delightful manor house make this one of the most picturesque pictures on the whole of zoochat! i need to make a visit to what looks like a wonderful park.

      I really cannot recommend this place highly enough, the setting is superb and the animal collection is fascinating, with some real rarities across mammals, birds and reptiles.


      EDIT: regarding the blue sky, this photo was taken during the Icelandic ash cloud incident, when there were no planes in the sky so no vapour trails and the bluest sky I have ever seen (certainly in the UK).
