Message to curators - you would be mad not to exhibit this species , if the chance comes up.What a charismatic cat - I have seen visitors nearly ecstatic over small cats in zoos , and the Pallas cat is one of the jewels in the crown of any collection.
Great photo - certainly one of the most unusual looking wild cats. Fortunately for those of us in the U.S., they are becoming more common, being one of the 8 species of small cats recommended by the Felid TAG.

Actually, I suspect that this is literally the case - animals from a generally shy species that are this friendly always suggests handrearing - anyone know for sure?
