      Great photo - love the dramatic lighting.

      Something about the cat's face looks odd, though, as if the cheeks are too fat or the eyes are too close together. Anyone else notice that? (TeaLovingDave, come in please...)

      I see what you mean! It's not something I ever noticed whilst he was up at Edinburgh - he usually spent much of his time laid in full view poking out of an overturned barrel, and as such was seldom seen face-on - as can be seen in the following photograph by Nisha:

      The one time I got a prolonged view of him out of the barrel, I did not notice these features of his face when getting the following image, but on reflection his cheeks *are* quite round:

      No special access -- the interior sections of the golden cat enclosures are adjacent to one another, and the male can be viewed (occasionally) through a windowed door just uphill of the main (female) enclosure. The view is through glass and two lots of mesh (see attached view of Khan when he was giving me a closer inspection), so getting a clear shot of him wasn't particularly easy.
