      Is there more to these 'cages'? They don't look that big or enriching, more like a large box. I know camera angles can be decieving however.

      I wouldn't even call them particularly large boxes, more like rather small boxes.

      I have attached a picture with a close up of one of the boxes.

      Wow. i don't like to assume things off the bat in case these are temporary, or for any other reason, but if these are permanent for the inhabitants then it's quite sad.

      They are pretty awful. I don't actually know anything more about this place than as a one time visitor, but all of the species held in these enclosures had other, larger enclosures with additional individuals of the same species. A few of these tiny enclosures also held chicks. As I said, I don't know any more about the situation though, so you can consider that information.

      They use these for housing the owl they use for flying displays,and for housing any chicks they are hand rearing!

      Thanks for clearing that up. What did you think of this place?

      Its okay I have seen alot worse places than this,but the place has new owners that are slowly putting things right and improving it.I would say its one to keep an eye as it could go either way,but if things go the right way it could become a very nice little collection!
